01. How long does it take to build a website?
It takes approximately 6-10 weeks to build a website from start to finish, providing I have all the information from you. Prior to starting we go through the full process and milestones so you know exactly what to expect. Generally speaking, the website will only take a long time if we are still waiting for text and images from yourself.
02. What do I need to provide?
It really depends on what type of website you want. We’ll be able to discuss this on our discovery call before we start working together. Depending on which package we agree on we could need…
- Images of you and your team
- Images of your workplace
- Content for the website e.g. text, PDFs, product images and descriptions etc
- Staff Profiles
- Any Videos you would like adding to the website
- Login details to your existing website
- Login details to your social media accounts (for linking purposes)
Some of this might already be on the existing website, in which case it can be transferred over to the new site.
03. What if I don't like the design
This usually doesn’t happen as we get super clear prior to starting the work. What is more likely to happen is that once presented with a design you get super clear on what you want! I offer variations to all my designs and this is something we discuss during the briefing stage in terms of how many variations are available. Rest assured you will never be given something you don’t love!
04. Can I manage my website once it's built?
Absolutely! That’s why I love working with WordPress and the Divi theme. It is super easy to manage once the template is designed and I offer video tutorials giving you a tour of the back end of your new site and how to make changes.
05. I would love an app but I have no idea where to start, can you help?
Of course! Adding an app to your portfolio of offerings is an exciting prospect. I can assist you from the brainstorming stage right through to the design and development. It’s a journey we can navigate together.
